Dan Leatherdale

Psychologist, Leadership Coach & Writer

Dan is the founder and MD of Open Space. He has worked for over twenty years as a business psychologist, executive leadership and communication coach, consultant and writer. He works closely with very senior leaders in a range of organisations, including global corporations and highly-regulated financial and professional services firms all over the world.

Before founding Open Space, Dan was CEO of AGL Communication, a central London consultancy with a list of prestigious corporate clients and also prominent figures, including prime ministers and royalty.

Prior to this, he was Creative Director at Mind Gym, working with blue-chip businesses to achieve measurable impact across global populations. He was also Head of Research and Knowledge, keeping the organisation abreast of the latest thinking.

Dan has an MA in French and Italian Literature from Oxford and an MSc in Occupational Psychology from London where his research, on the role of leaders in people development, is included in a book on best learning practices within a professional services firm.

He is certified by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is accredited in the use of a range of psychometrics and several related professional disciplines.
